Zelenskyj got in one emotional speech in the European Parliament for the Support of EU citizens in the fight against Russia thanks.
The EU parliamentarians gave Selenskyj an enthusiastic welcome when he entered the plenary hall. They rose from their seats and gave the head of state a long applause. The applause of the MPs in the plenary is not aimed at himself, but at everyone in the towns and villages who support Ukraine, said the 45-year-old in Brussels.
He thanked for the supply of weapons and ammunition, of fuel and energy, of all the thousands of things “we need in this brutal war”. He thanked Parliament for condemning the war soon after the invasion began and for advocating for Ukraine to become a candidate for EU membership. It is about defending the European-Ukrainian way of life. He invited all deputies to come to Ukraine.
