During a visit to the USA, British Foreign Minister David Cameron wants to promote the release of a $60 billion US aid package for Ukraine. Cameron will warn in a conversation with the Republican leader of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, that the US will endanger the security of the West if Republicans continue to block the financial aid approved by the Senate. According to local authorities, at least three people have been killed in renewed Russian attacks on the southern Ukrainian region of Zaporizhzhia. In the Pologiwskyi district, three people were killed and three others injured, regional governor Ivan Federov said in online networks. Four drones were destroyed over the southern region of Odessa, said Oleh Kiper, the region’s governor. “A logistics and transportation facility was damaged,” Kiper added on Telegram. “A gas station was also damaged by the debris left by a knocked-down Shahed.” There were no injuries in the attack, he added.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has arrived in China. This was announced by the Russian Foreign Ministry. Lavrov will hold talks in the country on the war in Ukraine, bilateral relations and the situation in the Asia-Pacific region.
