Ukraine: Half a year of war, a deadly stalemate – Opinion

This Wednesday Ukraine is celebrating its freedom and independence – but of course the country is not independent on its national holiday. Freedom was taken from Ukraine half a year ago with a brutality that still determines the moral gradient in this war today. Russia’s robbery is characterized by such severe lack of rights, brutalization and ideological readiness for conflict that to this day no serious attempt to end the war through political negotiations has been conceivable.
