It is the day after the switching conference in which US President Joe Biden discussed the delivery of heavy weapons to Ukraine with his European allies. And this day is certainly not easy for Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock. Only Ukraine’s resolute willingness to defend itself still sets effective limits to Russian aggression, the Green politician said shortly before leaving for the three Baltic states on Wednesday morning. Germany is taking “the new realities into account” with all consistency, and is “resolutely” supporting Ukraine in its fight for survival – including with weapons.
