This Wednesday at the end of the day, two teenagers were electrified at Blanc-Mesnil after getting on a freight train. According to information reported by our colleague from France Bleu, the two young people received an electric shock after getting on a stationary train, parked between the stations of Drancy and Blanc-Mesnil, a little before 8 p.m.
One of the two is seriously injured. The 16-year-old suffered from burns. The second, who accompanied him, is only more lightly affected. Around 20 firefighters rushed to the scene and provided first aid.
The Bobigny prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation to determine the causes of the injuries, which will be carried out by the Blanc-Mesnil police station.
