Two suspects aged 23 and 28 were taken into police custody at the Montpellier (Hérault) police station after the fatal attack on a 19-year-old man. The latter was killed on May 16, in the city of Val de Croze, south-west of the Hérault capital, learned 20 minutes at the prosecutor’s office. One of the two individuals was arrested by the police in charge of the investigations. The other suspect went, on his own, to the prosecution.
The first elements of the investigation had suggested that the man had been assaulted with a baseball bat. Finally, the autopsy of the victim’s body revealed death by gunshot. Investigations are still underway to try to clarify the circumstances and responsibilities for this act of violence.
