two people tried for a series of 30 burglaries near Béziers

On May 25, two people, arrested on April 12, will be tried before the criminal court, suspected of having committed a series of 30 burglaries, in January and February, in Sérignan and Sauvian, near Béziers (Hérault), indicated on Sunday the services of the Hérault gendarmerie.

It is due to a strong resurgence of burglaries in Biterrois that the gendarmes of Valras-Plage opened an investigation, after having set up a surveillance system which proved to be successful. The two suspects were quickly identified and arrested. The searches led to the recovery of stolen objects.

One of the suspects was remanded in custody, the other under judicial supervision.
