Two fires on Friday evening in Maisach are still a mystery to the Fürstenfeldbruck criminal police. She also determines whether there is a connection and is looking for witnesses. There was property damage, no one was injured.
At around 5:40 p.m., a burning quad was reported in Metzgerstrasse. The announcement was made by a local resident. The vehicle, which was quickly extinguished by the fire brigade, suffered property damage of around 3,000 euros. According to the current status of the investigation, it cannot be ruled out that the fire was set intentionally. The quad was secured.
Two hours later, around 7:40 p.m., heavy smoke developed in an underground car park on Bahnhofstrasse. As it turned out, a fire was set in shopping trolleys at a convenience store located there. Property damage amounting to several hundred euros was incurred. In this case too, no one was injured. After the fire was extinguished, the fire department had to ventilate the garage to clear it of smoke.
