The facts took place on the night of January 31 to February 1 in Saint-Avé near Vannes (Morbihan). During the night, two Molotov cocktails were thrown at the premises of the gendarmerie brigade,
according to information from Telegram confirmed by the Vannes prosecutor’s office.
According to West France, the incendiary devices did not cause any damage. An investigation is underway into this act of vandalism.
A vehicle burned in 2020
In November 2020, a vehicle had already been set on fire in front of the building, the day before the installation of the 26 gendarmes in their new premises.
