They were arrested on Friday in Isère as part of an investigation opened after a homicide committed the previous weekend in Annonay, in Ardèche. Two minors aged 16 and 17 were indicted for murder and placed in pre-trial detention, the Privas public prosecutor announced this Sunday, according to France Blue.
A 19-year-old man was shot and killed shortly after midnight on the night of Saturday to Sunday in Annonay, a town of just over 16,000 inhabitants located south of the Pilat regional natural park. The trail of a homicide linked to drug trafficking is favored.
Suspected of being the perpetrators of the fatal shootings, the two suspects from Isère did not recognize the facts. The victim knew the two teenagers well. A third person, suspected of having arranged to meet the young adult in what could be an ambush, is being sought.
