Two men attack passers-by in Nördlingen – Bavaria

Two men attacked two passers-by in Nördlingen (Donau-Ries district) and injured one of them with a knife. Both pedestrians had their lips bloodied and one of them was stabbed in the thigh, police said.

The suspects, aged 17 and 19, drove past the 17- and 18-year-old pedestrians in their car on Sunday night and got out in front of them. Then, for reasons that are still unclear, there was a physical altercation between the four young men.

It was initially unclear whether the incident was preceded by an argument or whether those involved already knew each other, a police spokesman said. The perpetrators fled and have not yet been located. But they are already known to the police, said the spokesman. The investigation is ongoing.
