Two great catches in two days. Since the beginning of the week, in Loire-Atlantique, major drug seizures have been made, confirmed this Wednesday morning the public prosecutor of Nantes, Renaud Gaudeul.
The first took place on Monday at the port of Montoir-de-Bretagne where customs, the judicial police and the maritime gendarmerie seized around 400 kg of cocaine in a container.
The next day, a large quantity of cannabis was intercepted at the Bignon toll, south of Nantes. Nearly 300 kg of grass and resin were discovered in a van late Tuesday afternoon.
Unlike Montoir where no arrest took place, a woman, who was driving the vehicle, was arrested in connection with this second case, specifies the daily Ocean Presswho revealed the information.
