Twitch Co-Founder’s Crypto Gaming Platform Fractal Expands to Polygon

Fractal, the gaming-focused marketplace on the Solana blockchain founded by Twitch co-founder Justin Kan, is expanding to Polygon.

Fractal will work with 30 leading Polygon games, according to the company, including Aavegotchi, Derby Stars, Sunflower Land and Decentral Games, according to Fractal.

By using the Polygon network, the Fractal side aims to accelerate “Development and access to a large number of game projects that are being built,” adding that so far there has been “More than 200 unique games released on Polygon.”

“Fractal has emerged as a major hub for blockchain gaming discovery,” said Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder of the Polygon Foundation, “and we aim to make 2023 the year we bring Web3 games to the mass market.”

Fractal isprimary and secondary marketsFor NFTs with in-game utilities Game companies can create and release game NFTs for their fans, while players can trade NFTs among themselves in a peer-to-peer marketplace. The market launched in 2021 and raised $35 million backed by investors such as Andreessen Horowitz and Animoca.
