Gunter tries to win over Birgit for the “Three Kings” and Simon fears for his position in the hotel. He admits to Charlotte that he’s scared of losing his job with no money to back him up. But Aunt Lieselotte’s will gives new hope – the deceased left Charlotte one million euros. Dörte would like to accompany Gunter on his journey, but she doesn’t get a holiday. While Gunter flies to Ecuador alone, Dörte receives a new job offer: Hannes’ association is looking for a new pastor.

Sina enjoys her time with Bambi as a couple. When David puts a delicate “present” at her feet, Sina suddenly finds it a matter of life and death. In order to impress Antonia, Rufus gets further entangled in his lie and has to prove himself as a detective – which is his limit. Cecilia can no longer avoid a conversation with Ringo. However, when she tries to enlighten him about his paternity, he reacts dismissively.

Justus desperately tries to raise money for Giese, but without success. So he makes Giese an offer. When Oskar distances himself from Leyla, she fears that he doesn’t find her attractive. But then she finds out what’s really behind it.

Toni comes to the conclusion that she has to watch the videotapes of Martin and Nina’s meeting or else the uncertainty will drive her crazy. She gets the footage to evaluate it. While Paul’s fourth wedding anniversary is all about his new family with Tom and Gina, Emily is reminded of what she has lost.
