On Thursday evening, in addition to new hairstyles, there was also an unprecedented event: the show had to be stopped because of blinding spotlights. Three of the participants had to leave.

In the sixth episode of the Pro7 casting show “Germany’s Next Top Model” there was coloring, cutting and suffering. The candidates not only had to present wedding fashion on the stairs, but also had to maintain composure during the big makeover in the hairdresser’s chair – even Heidi Klum dared to use scissors. After the walk, three of the participants had to end their time at the casting show on the Spanish island of Tenerife.

Not all candidates enjoyed the makeover. Julian, for example, suffered from the bleaching dye and temporarily stopped styling. “It hurts like hell,” said the 24-year-old. Heidi expressed surprise: “Otherwise I always have crybabies with the women, today it was with the men.” With the assistance of his twin brother Luka (24), the styling continued – and then to top it off, Heidi came and cut off his hair further. She received praise from the stylist and in the end the two twins were also very happy with their short platinum blonde hair. “The pain was worth it,” Julian said.

Armin: “Just a different person”

Most women remained relaxed as their cut hair fell to the floor and new color was applied. Even Mare (22), who can now appear in front of the camera with pink hair. Leoni (25) had a few screams of joy when she saw her new blonde hair color. Other candidates were initially unable to recognize themselves when their hairstyle was revealed.

“Just a different person,” Armin (27) commented on his almost completely shaved hair. But according to Heidi, candidate Jana (25) experienced the “crassest change”. Her hair changed from brown to a blonde mane. “I’m sure I’ll be scared tomorrow when I look in the mirror,” she said. But not everyone got a makeover. Many of the model candidates had to stay in the villa on Tenerife and had doubts about progressing.

The challenge: stairs

All candidates were then allowed to prove themselves on the catwalk in white wedding dresses and suits. The challenge: stairs. For the challenge, Heidi brought in British supermodel Jourdan Dunn (33) as a judge. Many were nervous about the steps and the wind also became a hurdle. But ultimately some candidates impressed with their confident running style, Jermaine (19) in particular stood out. Franz (19) and Livingsten (23) had to leave the show.

In the end, nothing went according to plan when it came to the women’s decision. Someone from the film crew jumped into the picture and quickly told the show host that the show had to be stopped. “The pilots on the plane complained that our lights down here were too bright,” Heidi explained. This is the first time in “GNTM” history so far. That’s why the feedback for the participants was short – viewers probably won’t see Leoni’s new hairstyle again in the next episode, she has to leave the show.
