On May 5, after a long period of uncertainty, TF1 and M6 finally signed a new contract with UEFA for the broadcast of the matches of the French team. But given their minimalist financial proposals (2.85 million euros per match against 3.5 million euros per unit previously), the agreement was made for only six Nations League matches, the four of June (the 3 against Denmark at the Stade de France, the 6 in Croatia, the 10 in Austria and the 13 against Croatia in Saint-Denis) and the two remaining in September (the 22 against Austria at the Stade de France and 25 in Denmark). Beyond this deadline, nothing more was planned. And time was running out.
