Such a talk table seems almost wonderfully old-fashioned in times when arguments are increasingly being exchanged through open letters. In Maybrit Illner’s work there aren’t any signatures (or at least they’re switched on from screen to screen), but actually real people and talk to each other instead of sending pamphlets around. Sometimes you even prove yourself right. Of course, the round of the two circulars on the Ukraine war, which recently caused unrest in debates in Germany, will be avoided this evening. It probably shouldn’t, after all, two senders have been invited: journalist Marina Weisband and explainer television veteran Ranga Yogeshwar.
