ZDF gets most people in front of the TV again on Saturday. But how did the other TV highlights fare?

A good start for the new “Wendland” thriller on ZDF: 6.08 million viewers watched the first episode “Stiller and the Ghosts of the Past” on Saturday evening from 8:15 p.m. That brought 22.7 percent market share and the clear victory in ratings. Ulrich Noethen plays the chief inspector Jakob Stiller, who has just arrived there and has to solve the murder of the owner of an organic farm.

On ARD, 3.93 million saw the show “Do you understand fun?” with Barbara Schoeneberger. The market share was 15.8 percent. The music show “The Masked Singer” came in third on ProSieben with 2.12 million (8.5 percent). The actress Jutta Speidel received too few viewer votes and was exposed as a pink-clad walrus lady.

Equally following are the sci-fi drama “Der Martianer” on Sat.1 and the action film “Godzilla” on RTLzwei, each with 0.86 million (3.4 percent). On Vox, 0.84 million (3.2 percent) watched the sci-fi film The Day the Earth Stood Still. Entertainer Thomas Gottschalk had to be content with the RTL show “Die Puppenstars” with a meager 0.76 million (3.0 percent). 0.46 million (1.8 percent) watched the documentary series “The Secret World…” on Kabel Eins.
