Millions watch special broadcasts on the attack on Israel

The threatening situation in the Middle East is also a big topic for TV audiences. Many people wanted to see the latest news on this over the weekend.
A lot of people watched it on German television on Sunday evenings Special broadcasts on the Iranian attack followed from Israel. The “ARD Brennpunkt” with the title “Major Attack on Israel” was tuned in by 7.45 million (28.4 percent) on the first from 8:15 p.m. The “ZDF special” with the topic “Escalation in the Middle East – Iran attacks Israel” was watched by 2.94 million (15.2 percent) from 7:12 p.m.
The news programs were also in great demand. The “Tagesschau” had 6.70 million viewers (26.7 percent) on the first channel alone from 8 p.m. 3.30 million (17.6 percent) wanted to see “today” in the second at 7 p.m. The ZDF “heute-journal” received 3.73 million (16.7 percent) from 9:56 p.m. “RTL Aktuell” gathered 2.69 million (15.5 percent) in front of the screen from 6:45 p.m. “Sat.1:newstime” was watched by 1.54 million (6.3 percent) from 7:56 p.m.
Aside from the current news situation, the most-watched primetime program was the Swiss “crime scene” crime thriller “Of Monkeys and People,” with 7.39 million viewers (27.5 percent) from 8:30 p.m.
