Several shows dueled for the favor of the TV viewers on Saturday evening. In terms of audience rating, however, another format came out on top in the end.

The audience was spoiled for choice on Saturday at primetime. But when it comes to quota, hit star Helene Fischer had to compete in the ARD program “Small versus Big – The Unbelievable Duel”, the RTL show named after the professional footballer “Am I smarter than Lukas Podolski?” and defeat the “The Masked Singer” final at ProSieben in a completely different format.

The quota winner is the investigator trio Ludwig Schaller (Alexander Held), Angelika Flierl (Bernadette Heerwagen) and Harald Neuhauser (Marcus Mittermeier), who in their latest “Munich murder” case “The Camel and the Flower” after an explosion resulting in death in an allotment garden settlement. The crime series has been running on ZDF since 2014.

Crime on ZDF is the winner

With the lovable, quirky and unconventionally working trio, a total of 6.16 million viewers tuned in and thus ensured a market share of 20.6 percent. The ARD show “Small versus Big – The Unbelievable Duel”, hosted by Kai Pflaume, which was attended by Helene Fischer among others, also exceeded the 20 percent mark. 5.63 million saw the three-hour program, which was a rate of 20.3 percent.

The finale of the ProSieben show “The Masked Singer” reached 3.25 million people, the market share was 12.3 percent. The winner of the fifth season was musical actor Alexander Klaws, who received the majority of audience votes as the blue monster Mülli Müller.

RTL showed a quiz show with Lukas Podolski

RTL ran the quiz show “Am I smarter than Lukas Podolski?”, In which the soccer world champion and four celebrities asked each other tricky questions. The viewers could play along in front of the TV. 1.07 million people tuned in for the format, giving the RTL quiz show a market share of 3.8 percent.

Sat.1 brought it to 1.32 million (4.6 percent) with the disaster film “The Day After Tomorrow” and Vox with the thriller “James Bond 007 – Tomorrow never dies” to 1.16 million (4.0 percent) ).
