Heike Makatsch said goodbye to the “crime scene” as investigator Ellen Berlinger. The interest of the spectators was great.

The ARD “Brennpunkt” was the most-watched program on Sunday evening. 8.23 million (28.4 percent) wanted to see the special program “Escalation in the Middle East” on Das Erste from 8:25 p.m. Afterwards the last Mainzer ran there “Tatort” crime thriller: The episode “Out of the Dark” with the on-screen farewell of Heike Makatsch as TV investigator Ellen Berlinger was seen by 7.45 million (26.9 percent).

RTL showed the NFL match between the New York Giants and the Miami Dolphins, with 920,000 American football fans (3.2 percent) sitting in front of the screen in the game segment from 8:43 p.m. The documentary soap “Hot or Schrott – Celebrity Special” was shown on Vox, and 810,000 people (3.5 percent) spent the evening there. On RTLzwei, the mystery thriller “Knowing – The Future Ends Now” had 730,000 viewers (2.8 percent).
