The former Axel Springer board member and KKR consultant Andreas Wiele is to become chairman of the supervisory board of Pro Sieben Sat 1 in May 2022. The 59-year-old, who was responsible for electronic media at Springer until 2019, is to succeed Werner Brandt, as the television company announced on Monday evening in Unterföhring. Brandt, who will be 68 years old in January, wants to resign after eight years at the next annual general meeting. Wiele should move into the Pro-Sieben supervisory board in February.
