Christmas Eve is in a month: For the ninth year in a row, Sat.1 will broadcast “Kevin – Alone at Home” with Macaulay Culkin on December 24 at 8:15 p.m.
In the film, an American family forgets their youngest son while leaving for Europe on Christmas vacation. In recent years, the Christmas classic from 1990 has always been the ratings winner in the Christmas Eve evening program.
The day before, German television is celebrating another TV tradition: For years, Erste has been showing the touching film “The Little Lord” with Alec Guinness and Ricky Schroder on the Friday before Christmas Eve, which this time, like last time in 2016, is December 23 . The ARD gives the British TV film from 1980 (original title: “Little Lord Fauntleroy”) a very good rating every time.
