I ordered the same in a restaurant that Vitello Tonnato had advertised as the dish of the day. Instead of the finely cut slices of veal, the restaurant simply took slices of veal ham from the supermarket. In response to my reaction, the waiter asked me what I wanted, it was veal. Since I did not have a generally applicable definition of the dish at hand, I reluctantly swallowed the argument. Am I right to feel ripped off?
For me it’s pumpkin soup with ginger because it goes quickly, works with different ingredients (carrots, potatoes) and is healthy. But I would like to have suggestions from the community. Please give reasons. Thanks!
