The image was “manipulated”, CNN confirms. However, Internet users use it to claim that “tunnels” were found under P. Diddy’s house in Los Angeles. This property of the rapper and producer, as well as a second located in Miami, was searched Monday by federal agents. These searches are believed to be linked to accusations of sexual assault.

“It seems that a conspiracy theory has become reality,” comment Internet users who share on X and on Facebook this fake screenshot from CNN, on which we can read: “Last minute. FAKE OFF

CNN does not “broadcast” this image, confirms 20 minutes a spokesperson for the channel. There is no trace of it on the channel’s website.

The American media also did not report on several tunnels which would have been found in the producer’s house. Only an “underwater swimming” tunnel would exist on the property. In the garden is “a lagoon-style swimming pool with a grotto connected by an underwater swimming tunnel”, wrote THE Los Angeles Times ten years ago, when P. Diddy acquired the villa.

The searches came as the musician faces accusations of rape and sexual abuse, allegations he denies.
