Thomas Tuchel reacts to Dietmar Hamann’s criticism for the first time after the win against Gladbach. The FCB coach rejects the Sky expert’s apology.

Munich – The dispute between Thomas Tuchel and Dietmar Hamann seems to be escalating! The FC Bayern coach recently had to put up with severe criticism from Sky experts. The club defended its employees, after which Hamann felt obliged to apologize. But Tuchel by no means accepts this; in fact, he makes serious accusations against his biggest critic.

Tuchel does not accept Hamann’s apology

The Bayern world was actually in order after the 3-1 win against Borussia Mönchengladbach and the associated successful dress rehearsal for the top game in Leverkusen next week. After the game, the feud between Tuchel and Hamann once again dominated the headlines.

Tuchel made it clear in a pool interview with ran, Sport1 and ZDF and made serious accusations: “I don’t believe him. The things that happened were completely taken out of context and said deliberately. Statements were deliberately made that were not true.” Rumms!

Tuchel rejects Hamann’s apology – Bayern coach makes serious allegations

Tuchel had explained at a fan meeting that Spanish football would appeal to him: “When you talk to Spanish players, you have the feeling that you talk to people very quickly and there are no empty phrases in between and no invisible wall.”

Hamann then finally settled accounts with Bayern coach Tuchel and accused him of having brought himself into discussion at Barcelona as Xavi’s successor, and of being the “biggest misunderstanding since Jürgen Klinsmann.” A few days later, Hamann apologized to Tuchel and FC Bayern.

Tuchel found out about Hamann’s criticism at home with his family

Hamann apparently could have saved himself the apology if you listen to Tuchel’s words, who seem to have been very affected by the statements. “In the evening you come home and spend a few hours with your family. Then the news hits you about what you did at the fan meeting,” Tuchel explained the moment he found out about the Hamann scolding.

“I was at a fan meeting and we were all shocked at what he made of it. That’s why it doesn’t matter if he apologizes. “I don’t buy it from him and that’s why it’s not relevant,” said the 50-year-old, who probably rules out a reconciliation.

“Border crossed”: Tuchel criticizes “extremely personal” and “unobjective” reporting

After the success over Gladbach, Tuchel also complained more generally about what he saw as the “extremely personal” and “unobjective” reporting. The “newspaper with big letters” recently “overheard” him “bitching to himself” during the game in Augsburg (3:2). “For me, a limit has been crossed.”

It is not the first time that the two alpha animals have clashed: Hamann has already dealt against Tuchel and Bayern several times and caused the next episode in the criticism fireworks. After the win against Gladbach, Tuchel also had completely different worries – Alphonso Davies had to be substituted injured. (ck)
