Dolberg is currently still on loan at FC Sevilla, but because he was hardly allowed to play for the Andalusians in the first half of the season, the loan is to be ended prematurely in winter. “The player is very keen to join the German club,” said Di Marzio of Dolberg’s desire to join TSG.
Hoffenheim had already shown interest in the Dane in 2019 – but at that time Nice had been awarded the contract, which paid over 20 million euros to Ajax Amsterdam.
