Hamburg’s mayor Peter Tschentscher (SPD) said on Monday in an interview with NDR 90.3 and the Hamburg Journal on NDR television that the corona measures in the Hanseatic city will be tightened. The stricter rules should already apply to Christmas.
The tightening also affects those who have been vaccinated and those who have recovered: Already over the holidays, only 10 to 20 people are allowed to meet privately. How big the meetings can be exactly should be on Tuesday at the Consultations from the federal and state governments on the corona situation to be decided. The regulation should then apply nationwide.
Clubs and discos have to close
In addition, clubs and discos in Hamburg have to close again, as Tschentscher said. That will be decided by the Senate at its meeting on Tuesday.
