Sales of former President Donald Trump’s NFT collection soared 450% following his impeachment in Manhattan.
The price swings came as Trump was detained in a Manhattan courtroom. The former president was indicted by a grand jury last week on allegations that secret payments were made to porn actress Stormy Daniels to silence her from revealing her affair with him.
The former president’s 45,000-item NFT collection sold out in hours when it launched in December, selling $3.53 million and sales wererising 500% last week, hitting $50,000 following news that Trump was indicted.
