The unthinkable has become routine. For the fourth time in five months, the former President of the United States has had to appear in person to be charged with various crimes, this time in Georgia. When this happened for the first time in New York in the spring, Donald Trump seemed at least uncomfortable with the process. It was a situation he was not in control of, he had to follow orders, and it was obvious how he didn’t like it. It almost seemed as if Trump felt something like shame.
