Good news for truck drivers. Drivers coming from the United Kingdom no longer need a PCR or antigen test to return to France, according to a decree published in the Official Journal on Wednesday.
People over the age of 11 must always present a biological virological screening examination carried out on British or Irish territory less than 72 hours before boarding to France. But, “by way of derogation, this obligation does not apply to travel by road transport professionals in the exercise of their activity”, specifies the decree, amending a previous text.
Truck drivers could until now present an antigen test capable of detecting the English variant of the coronavirus, and were exempted from testing if they had spent less than 48 hours in the United Kingdom.
