Massive Attack fans will have to do without their stars in several countries in the summer. The background are health problems of a band member.

The British trip-hop band Massive Attack has canceled several concerts due to the serious illness of one of their members. The person concerned has been struggling with the serious illness for months, according to a message on the group’s Twitter account on Thursday.

In the meantime, however, there has been an improvement. “This process is positive, but also challenging and ongoing.” This means that no performances can take place in May, June and July this year. During this period, concerts were planned in several European countries, including France, Belgium and Italy. In Germany, an appearance was planned for June 28 in Düsseldorf.

The communication did not reveal which artist it was. The group currently consists of frontman Robert del Naja (“3D”) and keyboardist Grantley Marshall (“Daddy G”).
