Lisa-Maria Kellermayr was a dedicated doctor – and a fan of the entertainers Joko and Klaas. After her death, the duo dedicated the season opener of “Who is stealing the show?” to the Austrian doctor.
The entertainers Joko Winterscheidt (43) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (38) remembered the deceased Austrian doctor Lisa-Maria Kellermayr. The two dedicated their ProSieben show “Who is stealing the show from me?” her “long-term companion”, as it was said at the beginning of the show on Tuesday evening.
Kellermayr had been involved in the fight against Corona and had become an object of hate for opponents of vaccination on the Internet. The doctor was often a guest on the Joko and Klaas programs, according to the post by the two entertainers, which was also published on Instagram. During the corona pandemic, she was committed “to the need for vaccination” and was therefore targeted by radical corona deniers and so-called lateral thinkers.

Kellermayr “regularly received explicit and detailed death threats” and the operation of her practice was repeatedly disrupted. The police in Austria had defended themselves against allegations that they had reacted too laxly.
Joko and Klaas had also shown the flag again and again in the Corona crisis. So they gave Olaf Scholz (SPD) a stage shortly before he took office as Chancellor after they had won 15 minutes of free airtime on their show “Joko & Klaas versus ProSieben”. As a guest of the entertainers, Scholz addressed an impressive vaccination appeal to the television audience.
