Suddenly he felt a dull thump from behind. “Is it bad?” he asked his buddy, grabbing his neck and noticing a gush of blood. Mohamed J. had hit him in the neck with a beer bottle that had been knocked off and hit a main artery. Since Friday, the 25-year-old has had to answer to the first jury chamber at the Munich I District Court for attempted murder, among other things.
