There is a lot of hustle and bustle this morning in the arrivals hall of Munich Central Station. Travelers push their way through the crowd with their suitcases. Commuters meander through the chaos, cell phones in one hand and coffee-to-go in the other. The babble of voices is interrupted by an announcement: a train is late, groans from the crowd waiting on the platform. Two young women, both wearing Helene Fischer fan shirts, talk excitedly while pushing their glittering trolley cases towards the escalator. You can’t hear what they say, but the anticipation of a few nice days in Munich is written all over their faces.
