There is always speculation about Kylian Mbappé and Real Madrid during the transfer periods. A French portal reports an alleged agreement.
A media report has sparked speculation about an alleged change from Kylian Mbappé from Paris Saint-Germain to Real Madrid fired up again.
Shortly after the French star striker’s hat-trick in the 9-0 win at sixth division club US Revel, the French portal “Foot Mercato” wrote that Mbappé had agreed on a commitment with Real in the past few days. The portal did not name sources for this and wrote that the 25-year-old had agreed to talks after winning the League Cup last week.
After the 2-0 win over cup winners FC Toulouse, Mbappé said he had not yet decided which club he wanted to play for in the future. His contract with PSG expires in the summer, a move to Real Madrid has been a recurring topic in recent years, but has not yet materialized. Mbappé emphasized that he wanted to win titles with the current PSG team and was putting his own future aside. Coach Luis Enrique said after the cup victory on Sunday evening that Mbappé wanted to play against the underdog. The Spaniard did not comment on a possible transfer.
The British newspaper The Times reported on Sunday that Mbappé was also considering a move to the Premier League after refusing to sign a pre-contract with Real. The Spanish sports newspaper “Marca”, however, wrote that there was no urgency and no offer from the Spanish record champions and that the problem lay with Mbappé. According to the media, a possible extension at PSG, which as things currently stand would have to let the 2018 world champion leave in the summer without a transfer fee, is reportedly not off the table.
