According to media reports, Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund has reached an agreement with Ajax Amsterdam about the transfer of striker Sébastien Haller.

According to media reports, Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund has reached an agreement with Ajax Amsterdam about the transfer of striker Sébastien Haller.

According to information from Sky, the transfer fee is 31 million euros plus up to four million euros in bonus payments. Haller is due to complete his medical on Thursday and be given a four-year contract. The Ivory Coast international still has a contract with Ajax until 2024.

Haller is supposed to compensate for the departure of top scorer Erling Haaland to Manchester City in Dortmund. He scored 73 goals in 132 top division games for FC Utrecht and Amsterdam. There are also eleven goals in eight Champions League games for Ajax. He scored 33 goals in 77 games for Eintracht Frankfurt between 2017 and 2019 before initially moving to West Ham United.

For the transfer from Haaland to Manchester City, the Revierclub had received the fixed transfer fee of 75 million euros.
