According to a letter, the regional league team is no longer allowed to sign any footballers aged 16 or over until winter 2026 because of an unpaid transfer fee. The club still has hope of averting this scenario – but there is also another big problem.

The club has just had to say goodbye to numerous players for financial reasons, and with the current squad it seems at least very questionable whether they could stay in the regional football league – the team is mostly keeping up, but has played all the games since the bloodletting during the winter break lost.
