A tram derailed when turning off Hohenzollernstraße. Nobody was injured in the accident on Wednesday afternoon. Nevertheless, the fire brigade had a big job – and had to show muscle strength.
To get the tram back on the rails, a second tram was pre-tensioned. This slowly began to pull. At the same time, all emergency services pushed hard and the tram was finally back where it belongs.
The operation lasted an hour. It is still unclear why the tram wheels jumped off the rails and how much damage was caused.
