Train traffic will also be “slightly disrupted” on Sunday

The circulation of trains will be, like Saturday, “slightly disturbed” on certain lines on Sunday, due to a social movement by SNCF Réseau switchers, the SNCF announced on Friday in an Infotrafic point.

Thirty TGVs out of 650, against twenty scheduled for Saturday, will be canceled, mainly on the TGV Atlantique, due to the movement of signalmen but also a local movement of drivers.

Detailed plans Saturday, 5 p.m.

On the rest of the high-speed network, traffic will be “normal or near-normal”. With regard to the Intercités, the traffic will also be “quasi-normal”. On night Intercités, only the Paris-Rodez-Albi train will be cancelled.

For the Transilien and the TER, certain lines and certain regions will be “susceptible to disruption”, indicates the SNCF, adding that the transport plans will be detailed on Saturday before 5 p.m.

SNCF signalmen operate the network: without them, the trains cannot run. With this strike called by Sud-Rail, they are asking for better recognition of their profession and an improvement in their working conditions.
