No toilet paper, no running water, dirty toilets – a train passenger was so outraged by the conditions in the toilet that he called the emergency services several times. This has consequences for the traveler.

The railway informed the federal police at Aachen main station on Thursday evening that the emergency call was pressed several times on an incoming train, as the Federal Police Directorate in Sankt Augustin announced on Friday.

Shortly afterwards, the officers met a 26-year-old who was accompanying the driver. When asked whether it was an acute emergency, the man confirmed that he had made the emergency call several times. The reason he gave was that there was neither toilet paper nor running water in the train toilet. He was also annoyed about the cleanliness of the train toilet. He received a complaint for misuse of emergency calls.
