Traffic: SPD collects signatures in Ebersberg for Radentscheid – Ebersberg

The citizens’ office of the SPD member of parliament Doris Rauscher is now accepting entries in the signature lists for the Bavaria-wide cycling decision: “The cycling decision has set itself the goal of increasing the proportion of bicycles in general traffic to 25 percent. Contrary to their promises, the state government too much time for the expansion of the cycling infrastructure”, explains the social politician her support.

So that more people switch from cars to bikes and the goal of noticeably more cyclists on roads and traffic is achieved, dilapidated cycle routes for commuter traffic must be renovated, and safe cycle paths and parking facilities must be created. “Politics and traffic planners must finally treat cyclists as equal road users. They deserve the highest level of safety. Inner-city awkward solutions, fragmentary routes and bumpy roads must come to an end if we want to give commuters a chance to increase their use of bicycles too,” according to Doris Rauscher. “The demands of the ‘Radentscheid’ referendum are long overdue. Anyone who wants to work for the climate and also benefit from a safe infrastructure for cyclists is cordially invited to put their signatures in my citizens’ office,” said the member of parliament.

The opening hours of the citizens’ office at Bahnhofstraße 12 in Ebersberg are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Radentscheid for Bavaria requires 25,000 signatures in the first phase.
