It was a big promise that the traffic light coalition made right at the start. The three parties wrote in their coalition agreement that democracy lives from trust in the constitutional bodies. One will “therefore strengthen the parliament as a place of debate and legislation”. New projects will be discussed “at an early stage” and “affected groups from society” and “representatives of parliament” will be better involved. This is intended to “improve the quality of legislation”.
