Despite an emergency operation, any help came too late for a 46-year-old woman. Her young son and husband were seriously injured in the accident.

After a difficult one After an accident in Mülheim an der Ruhr in which a 46-year-old woman died, the police arrested the 27-year-old suspected perpetrator and took him into custody. A judge issued an arrest warrant for murder against the man on Saturday, police said. He was taken from the hospital where he was due to his injuries.

According to initial findings, the 27-year-old German drove his car through a red light at significantly excessive speed.

At the traffic light intersection, a 46-year-old man wanted to turn at the same time – his wife, the same age, and their 10-year-old son were in the car. There was a serious collision between the two vehicles, as a result of which the mother later died in hospital. Despite an emergency operation, she could not be saved. Father and son, as well as the 27-year-old and a 25-year-old passenger were seriously injured.

A police spokesman said the use of a means of committing a crime that was dangerous to the public was being examined as a factor in murder. Due to the reckless driving style and significant speeding, the 27-year-old’s car could have become a vehicle that was dangerous to the public, causing serious damage and even death to others.
