Driver burns to death in car after accident

A man crashes his car into a tree and the vehicle bursts into flames.
A 46-year-old driver is injured after the collision Cars burned with a tree in the Diepholz district in his vehicle. Other drivers saw the burning vehicle next to the road in Syke, Lower Saxony, on Friday evening and alerted the emergency services, the police said.
When emergency services arrived, the vehicle was reportedly completely engulfed in flames. The fire department extinguished the fire; any help came too late for the driver.
According to initial findings, the 46-year-old’s car left the road in a slight right-hand bend, went over a guardrail and hit the tree head-on at high speed. The car is said to have immediately started to burn. The road was completely closed for around four and a half hours while the police were extinguishing the fire and investigating.
Since, according to the police, the car was a company vehicle, the driver’s identity was not initially clear. The car was recovered that night and towed away for further examination. According to initial police estimates, the damage is at least 55,000 euros.
