Heiner Oberrauch is president of the family-run Oberalp Group, founded in 1981, an enthusiastic mountaineer and a kind of South Tyrolean philanthropist. For example, he initiated the “winter house” for the homeless in Bolzano and had medical protective equipment produced in his company at the beginning of the pandemic. His company includes the well-known mountain sports outfitters Salewa and Dynafit. As soon as he greeted him, Oberrauch said he was happy to be able to withdraw more and more from the company – in order to place it in the younger and better hands of the management team.
