After the shameful defeat at Newcastle (1-6), in the Premier League, Tottenham players want to redeem themselves. Literally. In a press release posted on Twitter, the Spurs apologized to their supporters, and undertake to reimburse them after the football parody proposed by their team in the North of England.
“As a team, we understand your frustration, your anger. It wasn’t good enough. We know words aren’t enough in situations like this, but believe us, a loss like this hurts. We appreciate your support, home and away, and with that in mind, we would like to reimburse fans for the cost of their St James’ Park match tickets. We know that doesn’t change what happened on Sunday and we’ll give it our all to make things right against Manchester United on Thursday night when, once again, your support means everything to us. Together and only together we can make things happen. »
