The French group TotalEnergies announced on Tuesday its decision to stop all purchases of Russian oil or petroleum products, “at the latest by the end of 2022”.
The company, which has been criticized for not having left Russia, explained in a press release that it was taking “additional measures” in the face of “the worsening of the conflict” in Ukraine. In its press release, the company is moved by “serious and unfounded accusations of ‘complicity in a war crime'”.
