The cup quarter-final between 1. FC Saarbrücken and Borussia Mönchengladbach was canceled shortly before kick-off. The reason is the extremely heavy rain that made the pitch in the Saarbrücken stadium unplayable. Even the final measures before the game did not bring any improvement.
