Tom Brady doesn’t stop after all. The footballer in the NFL and husband of Gisele Bundchen announces his resignation from retirement.

Tom Brady (44) declares his resignation from retirement. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback has at least one more season to play in the National Football League (NFL). Only 40 days ago, the best footballer of all time, according to many experts, announced the end of his career.

Via Instagram Brady announced the surprising move. “In the last two months I have realized that my place is still on the field and not in the stands,” he wrote. “That time will come, but it hasn’t come yet,” he said of the end of his career.

Brady is looking to start his 23rd season with the Tamba Bay Buccaneers next season.

Tom Brady pays tribute to family and teammates

“I love my teammates and my family who support me,” Brady wrote. “Without her none of this is possible.” The footballer consequently posted pictures of his teammates and family with his text.

Brady has been married to Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen (41) since 2009. The couple have two children together, son Benjamin (12) and daughter Vivian Lake (9). Brady also has a son, born in 2007, with his former partner Bridget Moynahan (50).

Brady still has a score to settle

Tom Brady is the most successful American footballer of all time with seven Super Bowl victories. No other player has won more finals. It’s not just because of this record that Brady is considered the GOAT in his sport, the greatest of all time.

Brady joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 after 19 years with the New England Patriots. With his new team, he promptly won the Super Bowl that same year. The Buccaneers were eliminated in the playoffs last season. “We still have work to do,” Brady wrote in his comeback statement.
